La Rue des Maures

Departure point is at the Agorespace parking area, which is at the end of the Bourg towards Vauban. Always leave the parking area by taking the road opposite which goes up in the direction of “Guernes”.
At the crossroads of Mathys turn left and left again onto a dirt-track. Pass over the crossroads at “Gaillards” on the road to Vauban, turn right after the last houses. At the crossroads of “Haut des Monts” continue straight on by the lane which descends and crosses Monts Stream, then go up towards” Les Crots”. Turn left towards “La Pacaudière” and” Le Fournet”, then turn left onto the D113, about 400m. At” La Cocardière” turn left then left again towards the woods after Rebutys farm. The lane goes down to the Monts Stream and to the locality of” La Rue des Maures”. Arriving at the road, turn left. The ruins of a tower in the meadow is all that is left of the old Chateau de Corson, demolished in 1868. At the crossroads, marked with an old cross, turn right to the path of Grand Bois, opposite are the Beaujolais Mounts (Les Echarmeaux). At the road (les Gonneaux) turn left to go up to the Bourg.
