Du haut de La Clayette au bord du lac

In front of the Castle follow the moat. Cross towards the parking area “De Lattre de Tassigny”. Make a tour of the ponds of the tanneries. Go up as far as la place Rambuteau. Here you have a good view of the castle. Take the High Street (rue Centrale) as far as the chapel of Saint Avoye. Go up the lane to the right of the building, climb the hill to La Poste to reach “Le Chemin des Amoureux” ( lovers’ lane) then take La Rue des Jardins from where you will have a view of the Dun Mountain. Go back down towards the promenade by la rue du Vieux Chêne, then that of Marano Equo and rejoin the Castle at the Promenade.
