A la rencontre de la nature

Start in front of the church of Tancon point n°1, during the season admire the flowerbeds, flowerpots of this village, go down to the right of the church, turn to the right direction "Vertpré" you are on a path which was used as a dike for old pond seeing on your left. At point n°2 "Vertpré" turn to the right to go to point n°3 "Moulin Milan" continue up to point n°4 "Château de Barnay" XIIth century, walk around, continue on to the plateau direction point n°5 "Rochemond" turn to the right then continue up to point n°6 "Point IGN350M" you are on an old Romano way and you are overhanging the valley of Sornin. Behind you, far away, we see "Les Monts du Roannais et les Monts du Forez".
At point n°7 you are at Saint Martin de Lixy. Have a break to admire the delightful romanesque church then continue your walk then return to the village of Tancon.
