La Clayette Castle is a true gem nestled in the heart of the Charolais-Brionnais region in southern Burgundy. Built in 1380 on the shores of the lake, it is surrounded by water, making it one of the most picturesque sites in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté! It has belonged to the de Noblet family since 1722 – that is, for three centuries.
Guided tours of the grounds and outbuildings take place only on Thursday mornings at 10.00 (from July to the end of October), starting from the tourist office.
