Sylvie DEVERCHERE has been working as a potter since 1986 in the small village of Saint-Igny-de-Roche, near Chauffailles.

She produces a wide range of utilitarian and decorative pottery, turned and ringed by hand, which she offers for sale in a shop next to her workshop: jugs, bowls, plates, vases, oven dishes or presentation dishes, lamps, boxes, vinegar dishes, tureens...
She can also make customised pieces to order, such as wedding dishes, plate sets, birth gifts...
Her pottery is most often decorated with floral, animal or abstract motifs, according to her inspiration: she freely uses engobes, these coloured clays applied with a brush or a pear, delicately engraved with a point, and which a transparent and shiny glaze reveals through the magic of the firing.
