Tremblements de terres

The shaping of clay is a sign of human creativity across all civilisations and all eras. The result is a vast diversity of sculpted earth forms, shaping techniques, finishes and firings.
"Tremblements de terres" bears witness to this richness, with an exhibition of creations by 4 contemporary artists using techniques that are sometimes thousands of years old.
Brigitte Brosset, a ceramist from Ligny en Brionnais, and Patricia de la Gorce, a textile artist from Amanzé, combine their passions - clay and thread - to initiate an unexpected dialogue between these opposing materials in a singular and poetic creative process.
For this exhibition, they are inviting Nadine Bell and Hélène Henckens.
