Nouveau spectacle des Gâs du Tsarollais "La Saint Cochon"

The folk art and traditions group "Les Gâs du Tsarollais" presents its new show "La Saint Cochon" with an original text and directed by Bernard Fournier.

On the farm of Firmin, Francine and their two children, Séraphin and Fernand, it is the big day of the slaughter. The Bonnots, Jean and Jeanne, the closest neighbours, retired farmers, Léon and Alphonse, two very picturesque old boys, have come to help.
Other neighbours are passing through, notably some vegan Parisians who have recently bought a house, but also the firemen who are starting their calendar tour. Everyone is gathered in a warm atmosphere where conversations are going well, bringing out the contrasts of the rural world with its patois and customs and the bland world of the city against the backdrop of the health crisis!
The following Sunday, all these people meet again for the pig's dinner. This is an opportunity to dance in local costume to the sound of chromatic and diatonic accordions and the clarinet, to sing traditional songs by Joanny Furtin, not forgetting some good stories, in a friendly and convivial atmosphere.
