"Savoir, faire, campagne" gives a voice to three artists who grew up or live in rural areas (Brittany, Franche-Comté or the Upper Beaujolais): Damien Rouxel, Marie Follea and Pierre Arbenot. They explore and document environments they know intimately. Through their artistic practices and craftsmanship, they create a wide variety of works (ceramics, sewing, drawing, photography and basketry) that reflect on our ‘living together’ and question our shared future.
Whether through humour, seriousness, kindness or poetry, their visions of rural life, the agricultural world or nature open up new horizons for human connection.
In the exhibition spaces at Le Quai (294M9), the works blend together to create a joyful dialogue and connections between the different themes explored by each artist.

The opening, on Saturday 3 October from 2.00 pm, will be an opportunity to discover their work. At 5.00 pm, the concert *Cultiver le vivant* by composer Quentin Marotine (performed as a duo with double bassist Vincent Dumangin) will take place, accompanied by a wine tasting between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm. This concert will be an experimental sound piece with documentary elements, taking us into the daily lives of a rural baker (Cécile Dubart) and a biodynamic winegrower (Julien Guillot) practising biodynamic viticulture, and will feature intimate narratives revealing contemporary agricultural, social and ecological issues.
