Come behind the scenes of the War of the Lulus: the story, the context, the sources. The Great War through the eyes of children!
Alongside the Lulus, 5 French orphans left to fend for themselves in an occupied zone, we delve into the daily lives of those forgotten by the Great War, those who never saw the front.
Régis Hautière explores the reality of the First World War through the eyes of endearing young heroes, in a story brought to life by the talented Hardoc. An adventure story exploring serious themes - shortages, occupation, flight, violence - with humour and a touch of childlike naivety.
La Guerre des Lulus, a series of more than 10 albums, has already attracted more than 500,000 readers. These best-selling comics have since been adapted into children's novels, and then into a film in 2022, by Yann Samuell, director of La Guerre des boutons and Jeux d'enfants. A comic book series for children aged 8 and upwards, but also for older children!
