Travelling by bike in South America with a baby? What a funny idea! This exhibition, featuring a range of illustrations, photos, travel objects and bicycle parts, will immerse you in the four-and-a-half-month journey of a circus-artist dad, a cartoonist mum and their little girl, aged just 1.
Combining objects to show you their daily lives, advice to get you started on your journey and panoramas to take you straight into the Andes mountains, all you'll want to do is cast off!

Opening on Friday 14 March from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.

In partnership with the association "Le petit rameur".

"A 2012 graduate of Lyon's Émile Cohl art school (specialising in "cartooning"), I have since been working on my own as an illustrator, graphic designer and animated short film workshop leader.
I'm driven by a thirst for discovery and an insatiable desire for freedom, so every opportunity I get is an excuse to travel. I love discovering other ways of life, other ways of thinking. I love to marvel at new landscapes, to be inspired by them, to sleep under canvas, to get back to basics, to find myself in unexpected situations... In short, to get out of my routines!
In 2018, I self-published my first book, "Anecdotes plein les sacoches ou comment j'ai rejoint l'Islande en solitaire avec le vélo de ma grand-mère" (24 x 16 cm - 240 pages), the travel diary of my first 'initiatory' cycling adventure (6 months and 8,200 km covered). I presented my journey in a number of places and also put it on display in an exhibition entitled "Iceland by bike".
After this magical nomadic experience, I couldn't wait to get back on the road. In the winter of 2019-2020, with my partner and our one-year-old daughter, we headed for South America (four and a half months' travel, 4,300 km). The result was a new self-published book, "Anecdotes plein la carriole ou comment nous avons traversé la Cordillère des Andes à vélo avec notre fille d'un an" (format 27 x 30 cm - 152 pages), a film (35 min) and an exhibition.
